Bo-jutsu means an art of fighting with a staff. We have two Katas. One is the original Kata performed by one person. The other is the application or Bunkai of the original Kata played or performed by two persons.

I practiced with Wayne Sensei in Wakayama Castle.
Yesterday, 17th March 2010, I visited Wakayama city to meet Wayne Gorsky Sensei from the United States. Wayne Sensei and I walked around in Wakayama Castle. We practiced the basic drills of Okinawan Gojuryu karate and Yang style Tai Chi there. In the castle tower, there was a museum, where we made friends with Mr. Matsudaira, the descendant of Tokugawa Shogun family. He was an expert of Iaido and Kendo. He explained the genuine samurai swords and spears displayed in the caslte to us. Thanks to his lecture, we really enjoyed the Wakayama Castle.
